1. How do I make a family out of your decal products?
We have many sizes available for our fish decals so you can find appropriate sizes for the surface you want your family displayed. We have sizes as small as 3 inches or as large as 18 inches. For example, you may want the 5 inch fish to represent mom and dad and the 3 inch fish to represent the child(ren). If you have a boat, you can use our larger sizes, like 13 inches for mom and dad and the 10 or 7 inch decal for the kids. All sales are final so be sure to measure your surface so you can order the correct sizes. If you would like to create a custom decal for your family's name, no problem! Just email us and request details.
2. How do I stick my decal to glass?
To simplify this process for beginners, we have video Instructions available in our "Support Center". You will need to the following supplies to perform the installation: rubbing alcohol, cloth, squeegee, office tape, scissors
Note: Your decal will stick best when attached to a surface between 60 and 80 degrees. Be sure your glass surface is completely dry before applying decal.

3. How does the buy 2 decals get a third FREE deal work?
More bang for your buck! When you purchase two of any given item in the catalog we add a third of that item to your order absolutely free! 4. Can decals be used for anything other than cars and boats?
Absolutely! We have both indoor and outdoor vinyl available. Our indoor vinyl are meant for interior walls, laptops, mirrors, doors, just about any surface in your home. These vinyl types include glow-in-the-dark vinyl and the removable vinyl. Not to say these cannot be used outside, but their adhesive qualities are not as strong as the outdoor vinyl and their lifespan will be shorter if they are out in the elements. Our outdoor vinyls, which include our metallic vinyls and all our color vinyls can be applied to any flat, dry surface. If you have any concerns or ideas, be sure to contact our design staff and we can help you decide which vinyl is right for you.
5. How do I stick my decal to painted surfaces such as the body of my car, walls or columns?
The procedure is the same as applying a decal to glass (see above description) except you may need to use a different cleaning solution. Be sure to test a small area on the wall or column to be sure the paint isn't affected. If you are concerned, use soap and water to clean the area and be sure it is completely dry before applying.
6. Why are all of the decal products shown in black and white?
All designs you will see on our site are shown in black and white to keep ordering simple. The black color represents where your vinyl choice will be and the white will be the color of whatever surface you are applying the decal to. All are very easy to apply and have outdoor durability up to 5 years (Glow-in-the-dark is designed for indoor use only). See our How To link for application videos.
7. What happens after I submit my order?
We will process your order immediately, and you will receive a USPS tracking number via email from Boat-Car-Decals.com when your order is shipped. You will receive your order in 5 days or less for most orders. Custom and special orders may take longer, and you will be notified if your order will be more than 5 days.
8. What is your return policy?
All sales are final, and decals may only be replaced on a case-by-case basis. To prevent any mistakes during installation, we have provided several videos in our "Support Center" menu. Please view the videos carefully before attempting your first installation.
9. Can I email you a photo of my decal and get to be featured online?
We love to see pictures of our decals on your boats and cars! Please email us your photos and we will put you in our online gallery.
10. Do you cut custom lettering like initials or business decals?
Yes, we do both custom lettering and business decals. We give discounts to businesses who purchase over 50 logo decals. Custom truck lettering installations can be installed if you are a North Florida or South Georgia resident; otherwise we can ship the product to you with instructions to install.
